website is a great place to begin for any
prospective California student. This site
walks you through the ins and outs of
federal grants and loans as well as Cal
grants (state funded grants) and
scholarships. Along with this information
they will also provide you with all the
necessary forms and information needed to
apply for college money, including the
important FAFSA documents. |

Be on the
lookout for big changes. The Governor's
2006-2007 budget has allotted for a change
in the Cal grant's maximum awards amount,
which would move it up from $8,322 to
$9,708. If approved this will be signed into
action sometime in July. |

University guarantees a
scholarship as high as full tuition for
meeting these requirements 3.75 GPA 21 ACT
or 1020 SAT |

Claremont-McKenna
College will match ROTC
scholarships with full room and board. |

Dominican University
gives $11,500 a year to students with at
least 3.6 GPA and at least 1200 SAT. |

St. Mary's College
awards $2,000 automatically to students with
a GPA of 3.7 and ACT 27 or SAT 1200. |
